Lukasz Aleksandrowicz is a Senior Program Manager at the Weston Family Foundation, where he leads the Homegrown Innovation Challenge, a $33M challenge prize accelerating technologies to future proof food production.
Previously, Lukasz was a funding manager at the Wellcome Trust, where he worked on global initiatives addressing climate change, health, and food systems. His other work has spanned applied research with organizations including the World Health Organization, Médecins Sans Frontières, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, as well as field based health programs in low resource settings.
Lukasz holds a PhD in sustainable food systems and brings a systems level yet highly strategic approach to tackling complex challenges.
